ATLANTA (Feb. 3, 2026) – The College Football Playoff and Chick-fil-A Peach Bowl today announced the official game dates for its Quarterfinals following the 2026-27 and 2027-28 seasons.
Over the next two years, the
Chick-fil-A Peach Bowl will host
Quarterfinal games, each taking place on New Year's Day.
- 2026-27 Season: Friday, Jan. 1, 2027
- 2027-28 Season: Saturday, Jan. 1, 2028
Specific game times and television network assignments will be announced at a later date.
"Following an incredibly successful year that concluded with our hosting CFP Champion Indiana in our Semifinal, it's exciting to shift our focus to continuing our role in the College Football Playoff by announcing our future game dates," said Gary Stokan, Peach Bowl, Inc. CEO and president. "New Year's Day has always been a special day for college football, and we're thrilled to be able to host our upcoming Quarterfinal games on January 1 for the next two years."

On Jan. 9, the College Football Playoff Semifinal at the Chick-fil-A Peach Bowl saw eventual national champion No. 1 Indiana continue its undefeated season with a 56-24 victory over No. 5 Oregon. The game drew a sold-out crowd of 75,604 fans and was watched by 18 million viewers in its prime-time slot on ESPN.
