A former player for the Volunteers, Fulmer worked his way up from an offensive line coach to the head job at Tennessee. During his tenure in Knoxville, Fulmer's teams appeared in back-to-back Peach Bowls, making the trip to Atlanta in 2002 and 2003. Fulmer is best known for coaching the Volunteers to a National Championship in 1998, winning nearly every major national coach of the year recognition along the way.
