Peach Bowl

Athletic Director - Clemson: 2002-2012

A longtime athletic director at multiple institutions, Phillips worked to foster a strong relationship with the Peach Bowl during his time at Clemson. Not only did he accompany the Tigers to three Peach Bowls, he also saw Clemson compete in two of the first five seasons of the Aflac Kickoff Game, helping to boost the relationship even further. The Tigers were victorious in three of their five trips to Atlanta under Phillips, winning the 2003 and 2012 Peach Bowls, as well as the 2012 Aflac Kickoff Game.
