Head Coach - Arizona State: 1958-1979
The 1970 season saw Arizona reach the Peach Bowl following their second of five consecutive WAC titles and the second of five total WAC Coach of the Year honors for Kush. In just the third annual Peach Bowl, Kush's Sun Devils traveled farther than any team had before or any team would for years to come. Their trip was a success, as Arizona State trounced North Carolina 48-26 to cap off an undefeated season. A standout player himself at Michigan State, Kush is one of a select few individuals to earn First Team All-America and Walter Camp Coach of the Year honors. He was inducted into the Chick-fil-A College Football Hall of Fame in 1995.
