Chick-fil-A Peach Bowl Volunteer Hall of Fame
Biography
A 32-year veteran, Debbie Nash began her Chick-fil-A Peach Bowl volunteer journey in 1985 doing a variety of jobs such as checking coats at the banquets, taking tickets and managing the dressing room for pageant contestants.
In the years that followed, she became a chairman on the University Families Committee where she was in charge of entertaining the team’s families while they were in town for the game. In 1997, she was recruited to serve as the volunteer suite coordinator, as well as to help in the Game Day Hospitality Suite. She still currently serves in both of these positions.
Outside of the Bowl, Nash has been working in promotional advertising for more than 30 years. She currently works at Zebra Marketing out of Charleston.
Nash grew up in Mt. Pleasant, North Carolina, before moving to Charleston in 2012 to be closer to her grandkids. She is married to Frank Nash, who is also a volunteer, and together they have three children, Amber, Brian and Darin, and two grandchildren, Raegan and Elisabeth.
