Chick-fil-A Peach Bowl Volunteer Hall of Fame
Biography
Rodney Hovater has been a volunteer for the Chick-fil-A Peach Bowl since 1986. He currently serves as the President’s Liaison for the Bowl. He is also a volunteer scorer for the Chick-fil-A Peach Bowl Charity golf tournament, a member of the Chick-fil-A Peach Bowl Board of Advisors, and a part of the team marketing and selection committee. Throughout his 31 years as a volunteer, Rodney has also served on the ticket sales, band and hospitality committees.
In addition to his Bowl duties, Hovater has had a distinguished 50-year career in sales and marketing for some of the largest technology companies in the world: IBM, Computer Associates and Compuware.
Rod and his wife Paula live in Roswell, Georgia. They have two sons, Clay and Russ, and seven grandchildren.
