Head Coach - Georgia: 2001-2015

Following the 2006 season, Richt's Bulldogs appeared in their sixth consecutive bowl game and captured their fourth win. His squad outlasted Virginia Tech, led by fellow legendary head coach Frank Beamer, 31-24 at the Georgia Dome. He was twice named the SEC Coach of the Year during his tenure, both of which coincided with his teams winning the conference. Richt was inducted to the Chick-fil-A College Football Hall of Fame in 2023.
