The longtime leader of the Bulldogs, Dooley coached Georgia in the 1973 Peach Bowl and brought them to three more as the school's Athletic Director. Dooley was the recipient of the 1978 Bobby Dodd Coach of the Year Award and was inducted into the Chick-fil-A College Football Hall of Fame in 1994.
