Chick-fil-A Peach Bowl Hall of Fame
Biography
In 1997 as chair of the bowl Bob worked with Albert Tarica to make significant changes to the bowl’s business model including revamping the bowl board of directors to include representative of the various sponsors and community leaders.
In 1998 Bob was very actively involved with the search committee that was formed to recruit a replacement for Robert Dale Morgan. Bob was involved in selecting Gary Stokan for that position.
During his first year as chairman Bob involved a large number of Delta employees, including the purchasing department in his Peach Bowl ticket sales. Bob set a new record for ticket sales which has never been broken.
Bob continued to serve on the board of directors after his term as chair and is currently on the executive committee and board of trustees. Bob also chairs the Investment Committee.
In 2017 was inducted into the Chick-fil-A Peach Bowl Volunteer Hall of Fame
