Chick-fil-A Peach Bowl Hall of Fame
Biography
Patti began her career after high school at the age of 19 under the leadership of George Crumbley, Peach Bowl, Inc.’s first executive director. He told her that the job would only last through the end of the football season, but 49 years later Patti remains the lifeblood of Peach Bowl, Inc.
In her 50 seasons with the organization, she has seen the Bowl move from Georgia Tech’s Grant Field to Atlanta-Fulton County Stadium, to the Georgia Dome and finally to Mercedes-Benz Stadium. She has been instrumental in bringing the game from relative obscurity to being a member of the New Year’s Six and college football’s most charitable bowl game.
It is only right that in her 50th season the Chick-fil-A Peach Bowl would be hosting a College Football Playoff Semifinal for the second time.
Additionally, she has spent time working with the Atlanta Sports Council to help bring major sporting events to Atlanta, including the Olympics, Super Bowls, Final Fours, and more. In 2012, she was inducted into the Atlanta Hospitality Hall of Fame.
